“Drawing on my fine command of language, I said nothing.”
—Mark Twain (or is it —Robert Benchley?)
In either case, I like the sentiment.

Worldofquotes.com attributes it to Robert Benchley, which was what I thought — http://www.worldofquotes.com/author/Robert-Benchley/1/ , see #3 and #11, maybe #6 and #9 — but Mark Twain might have managed a variation of it.
I like it — so much I almost want to try it sometime.

I am impressed by the fine command of language everybody else has demonstrated in response to this quotation.
